Easy and Perfect Halwa Puri with Channa Masala / Aloo Bhaji & Halwa By Sara's Haute Cuisine

Ingredients for Masala channa
Chickpeas 1 cup boiled (full done)
(Measure before soaking )
Oil 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
All spice powder (garam masala)1/4 tsp
Gram flour  (baisen) 1 tsp
Ginger garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
Onion (blended with little bit of water) 1 medium size
Green chilies 2 to 3 sliced
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Method :
Heat oil add in turmeric+coriander+red chili+salt+all spice+gram flour and stir it well.
Then add in ginger garlic paste & onion and mix well.
Add in green chilies and cumin seeds Mix well then add 1/4 cup of water and cook until oil separates.
Then mix in boiled chickpeas (chanay).
Add 1 cup of water and cook for 5 to 7 mints.
(You can increase or decrease the quantity of water according to your choice.....If you want more gravy then add more water if less then 1 cup is enough)


Ingredients for Aloo Bhaji
Potatoes  (aloo) 3 medium size
Cut in cubes & boiled (full done)
Oil 1/4 cup
Mustard seeds (rai dana) 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds  (zeera) 1/4 tsp
Nigella seeds (kalonji) 1/4 tsp
(Onion 1 small+2 green chilies+1 small tomato...finely chopped)
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder ½ tsp
Method :
In oil add cumin,Nigella, mustard seeds when they start to splutter add chopped masala saute for a mint.
Add a splash of water and add all other spices cook masala for 15 seconds then add in boiled potatoes and cook with Masala for 2 minutes then add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 mints,Aloo bhaji is ready to eat,enjoy it with puri.

Ingredients for puri:
Flour 3 cups
Oil 3 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Yogurt 1 tbsp

Instructions:
Mix flour, oil, salt and yogurt in a bowl and knead a medium soft dough with simple tap water.
Leave it for 30 minutes.
Make small balls out of dough and roll into puri.
Heat oil in a wok and put poori carefully in hot oil, fry on high flame.
You should press the poori while frying in this way poori will rise.
Serve with aloo chana bhaji, pickle, soji halwa,kababs or tikka masala.

In oil add all spices

Ginger garlic paste 

Blended onion 

Cook for a minute add green chilies and cumin

Cook until oil separate add chickpeas

Mix well

Add water & cook for 5 to 7 mints

In oil add all masala 

Add all spices

Add boiled potatoes

Cook for a minute 

Add water and cook for 5 mints

Add all ingredients in a bowl

Knead a soft dough 

Make balls and roll in a thin disc (roti)

Fry in hot oil

Makhadi Halwa / Traditional Semolina & Milk Halwa By Sara's Haute Cuisine

Semolina halwa(Makhadi halwa)produced and served in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India & Iran. But this  makhadi halwa is very sweet with a gelatinous texture similar to polenta; the added Asli ghee (clarified butter) gives it a rich taste. 

Ingredients : 
Semolina 1 cup
Milk 1 & 1/2 cup 
Sugar 1 cup 
Asli Ghee/clarified butter 3/4 cup 
Green Cardamom 3 to 4 
(You can add cardamom powder too)
Coconut cut in slices 2 tbsp 
(You can use desiccated coconut)
Almonds chopped 2 to 3 tbsp 
Raisins 1/4 cup 
(Or you can use any nuts of your choice)

Method : 
In a bowl Soak semolina in milk,cover with cling/plastic wrap and put it in refrigerator. 
Next day heat ghee in your cooking pot add cardamom cook for few seconds....add in sugar....Stir for once and let it caramelize,(we'll get very nice natural golden colour with this step)
then pour in soaked semolina carefully with all milk...
(As soon as we add semolina & milk sugar will become lumpy so no need to worry about it'll dissolve gradually )
and cook on medium flame until texture becomes grainy and milk becomes dry.
Then drain all the excess ghee add nuts mix well and enjoy this yummynesss with your family.

Homemade Strawberry Sauce By Sara's Haute Cuisine

Today i am sharing a very handy,useful &  yummy recipe of strawberry sauce.you can use it as your cakes or cupcakes filling for topping of pancakes for making ice cream or u can enjoy as it is with bread or buns😉
Making it with just 3 ingredients so let's get started 😊 

Ingredients : 
Fresh or frozen strawberries 1 cup heaped 
(I used frozen)
Sugar 4 tbsp 
Cornstarch / corn flour 1 tbsp 
Blend strawberry with a cup of water.
Pour in a sauce pan.
Add in sugar & corn flour mix well.
Let it cook on medium heat until it reduce & thickens like custard. 
Then drain it through a sieve to avoid any lumps.
Let it cool completely and store in a glass jar or in a plastic container in refrigerator for weeks. 
And use when needed.

This is my way of making the yummiest strawberry ice cream. It's easy it's simple it's egg less and process is also simple still you will get the incredible taste and velvety texture. To make this you will need very few ingredients and you are good to go for this 
ice cream.
And the most important thing is you can create many flavours of icecream with this recipe like bounty,almond,pineapple, pistachio etc

Ingredients : 
Evaporated milk 1 tin (385 ml) chilled;Semi frozen 
Condensed milk 1 tin  (14 oz) 
Whipped cream 2 & 1/2 cup
Strawberry sauce 1 cup
Few drops of red or pink food colour 
Strawberry essence  (optional)
Method : 
Beat semi frozen evaporated milk until triple in volume. 
Pour in condensed milk and beat again for a minute or until well mix.
Fold in whip cream.
Add in strawberry sauce and mix until well combined. 
(Mix with beater on low speed)
Add colour and mix.
Pour in an plastic airtight container. 
Drizzle some strawberry sauce on top......

(U can give layers of strawberry sauce by pouring some ice cream then drizzle of sauce again ice cream and sauce then give it a little mic with a knife)

Cover it and freeze for 6 to 8 hours or overnight. 
Decorate as u want and enjoy this yummynesss with your family, friends and loved ones.

Beat chilled evaporated milk

Beat until triple in volume

Pour condensed milk & beat well

Fold in whip cream 

Mix in strawberry sauce 

Add food coloring

Pour in an airtight container 

Drizzle some strawberry sauce

Put it in freezer for overnight 

Scoop it out 

Enjoyyy

Pineapple & Strawberry Cake / Perfect Vanilla Sponge Cake / Yellow Cake ...

This Pineapple Cake Recipe is the BEST! With moist,soft & spongy homemade yellow cake layers with a flavorful pineapple & strawberries and whip cream filling.

Ingredients for sponge cake :
6 eggs 
Granulated sugar 3/4 cup 
All purpose flour 1 cup slightly heaped 
Baking powder 1 tsp 
Vanilla essence 1 tsp 
Yellow food colour few drops
Instructions : 
All ingredients should be at room temperature. 
Sieve flour & set aside.
Line a 8" cake pan with oil & parchment paper.
Preheat your oven at 180ÂșC for 15 to 20 minutes.
Beat eggs & sugar until triple in volume. 
Add vanilla essence and mix well.
Now stop beater & Fold in flour and baking powder.
Do this step patiently,otherwise the air that is created in it will release and cake will not bake perfectly. 
When you have done with flour add colour,mix well and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. 

Other ingredients : 
Whipped cream 2 to 3 cups 
Pineapple juice 
Pineapple slices 
Strawberry chopped

After baking cool completely on a wire rack then cut into 2 or 3 layers then sandwich these layers with whipping cream & chunks of pineapple & strawberry. 
(Moist each layer with pineapple juice)
Then plaster your cake with cream and decorate with pineapple slices and strawberries or according to your choice.

Beautifully baked 

Spread cream on 1st layer
Add pineapple & strawberry chunks
Sandwich with 2nd layer

Decorate with pineapples and strawberries 
Drip some chocolate sauce on edges 
Cake is ready
