Easy and Perfect Halwa Puri with Channa Masala / Aloo Bhaji & Halwa By Sara's Haute Cuisine

Ingredients for Masala channa
Chickpeas 1 cup boiled (full done)
(Measure before soaking )
Oil 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
All spice powder (garam masala)1/4 tsp
Gram flour  (baisen) 1 tsp
Ginger garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
Onion (blended with little bit of water) 1 medium size
Green chilies 2 to 3 sliced
Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
Method :
Heat oil add in turmeric+coriander+red chili+salt+all spice+gram flour and stir it well.
Then add in ginger garlic paste & onion and mix well.
Add in green chilies and cumin seeds Mix well then add 1/4 cup of water and cook until oil separates.
Then mix in boiled chickpeas (chanay).
Add 1 cup of water and cook for 5 to 7 mints.
(You can increase or decrease the quantity of water according to your choice.....If you want more gravy then add more water if less then 1 cup is enough)


Ingredients for Aloo Bhaji
Potatoes  (aloo) 3 medium size
Cut in cubes & boiled (full done)
Oil 1/4 cup
Mustard seeds (rai dana) 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds  (zeera) 1/4 tsp
Nigella seeds (kalonji) 1/4 tsp
(Onion 1 small+2 green chilies+1 small tomato...finely chopped)
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder ½ tsp
Method :
In oil add cumin,Nigella, mustard seeds when they start to splutter add chopped masala saute for a mint.
Add a splash of water and add all other spices cook masala for 15 seconds then add in boiled potatoes and cook with Masala for 2 minutes then add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 mints,Aloo bhaji is ready to eat,enjoy it with puri.

Ingredients for puri:
Flour 3 cups
Oil 3 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Yogurt 1 tbsp

Instructions:
Mix flour, oil, salt and yogurt in a bowl and knead a medium soft dough with simple tap water.
Leave it for 30 minutes.
Make small balls out of dough and roll into puri.
Heat oil in a wok and put poori carefully in hot oil, fry on high flame.
You should press the poori while frying in this way poori will rise.
Serve with aloo chana bhaji, pickle, soji halwa,kababs or tikka masala.

Cook for a minute add green chilies and cumin

Cook until oil separate add chickpeas

Mix well

Add water & cook for 5 to 7 mints

In oil add all masala 

Add all spices

Add boiled potatoes

Cook for a minute 

Add water and cook for 5 mints

Add all ingredients in a bowl

Knead a soft dough 

Make balls and roll in a thin disc (roti)

Fry in hot oil
