Sponge Cake / Chocolate Sponge Cake / No Oil / No Butter Sara's Haute Cu...




The very basic recipe of sponge cake very soft very delicate no oil no butter but still you got the texture which is just super soft and beyond imagination.Let's make it the ingredients you gonna need are few Let me go through the ingredients first 6 eggs All purpose flour 4 ounce / 8 tbsp heapedVanilla essence 1 tsp Granulated sugar 1 cup Coco powder one third cup Baking powder 1 and a half tsp 



Method Grease and line your 8 inches cake pan.Preheat over on 180ÂșC Sift flour and add baking powder and sifted coco combine all of them and set aside Beat eggs and sugar until the volume become tripple and creamy then add vanilla essence and stop beating Then add flour gradually with spoon and mix gently with your spechula or wooden spoon And the point to remember in making soft sponge is that you have to mix it very gently and slowly it will take some time to incorporate all the flour in the batter but this will help in making the sponge soft if you mix it with hard hands it will extinguish the air created by beating so be patient and be careful just give a round and then a cut and you can see in the video for a better understanding After combining the flour into egg batter pour it into your greased cake pan and bake it in the oven for 15 to 20 mints or until done completely which you can check through the skewer into the center of the cake and if it will come clean your cake is Done Put the cake on a wire rack to let this cool completely and you can ice it however you want
