Boiled potatoes 500 grms / half kg
Boiled peas 1 cup
Carrot 1 large cut in Julienne
Capsicum 1 large cut in julienne
Cabbage 1 & half cup thinly sliced
Onion finely chopped 1 small
Green chillies chopped 2
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Mint leaves 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp or to taste
Red chilli flakes 2 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Roasted cumin 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Coriander seeds roasted & crushed 1 tsp
Oregano half tsp ( optional )
Ingredients for coating :
Plain flour 4 tbsp
Water as needed
Breadcrumbs
Method :
Blanch carrot,capsicum and cabbage......Drain water.....squeeze all water from vegetables by pressing in ur palms.
BLANCH PROCESSBOIL WATER IN A DEEP PAN ADD VEGETABLES LET THEM BOIL WITH BOILING WATER FOR A MINUTE THEN DRAIN AND POUR TAP WATER OVER VEGETABLES AND DRAIN.
In a large bowl add all veges and spices mix well.
Make cutlets.
Prepare a slurry of flour and water dip cutlet in this slurry coat with breadcrumbs and shallow fry until nice & golden.
Enjoy with evening tea😉
VARIATION
1: U CAN USE THESE PATTIES IN BURGER AND MAKE THEM ATTRACTIVE FOR KIDS.
BEST WAY TO GIVE VEGETABLES TO YOUR KIDS.
2: MAKE THEM IN LOG SHAE AND CAN PUT IN PITAS.
3: CAN EAT WITH TORTILLAS....ROLL IN & ENJOY.
4: U CAN ADD SPINACH AND SWEET CORN TOO.
5: FOR MAKING MORE ATTRACTIVE & COLOUR FULL CAN ADD RED & YELLOW BELL PEPPERS.
U CAN FREEZE THEM TOO AFTER COATING AND FRY WHEN NEEDED.
