Veggie Pulao with Tandoori Tikka / Delicious Vegetable Pulao / Sara's H...



Ingredients for tandoori tikka:
Chicken Boneless half kg/500 grams cut in cubesLemon juice 2 tsp Tandoori tikka masala(any good quality brand) 2 tbsp Salt 1 tspGinger garlic Paste 1 tsp Oil 2 tbsp Soya saus 1 tsp Tandoori colour optional if u like rich red colour then add few dropsMarinade chicken with all ingredients leave it for at least 30 minutes or more then cook for 3 to 4 mints from each side in a grill pan or in a frying pan as it is or on bamboo sticks....give a smoke of charcoal and tikka is ready.



Ingredients for vege pulao Basmati Rice 4 cups  soaked in water for 30 minutes Oil 1/2 cup Peas 1 cup Carrots diced 1 cupCapsicum diced 1 cup Cabbage 1 cup slicedOnion sliced 2 or half cup Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp Salt to taste Red chilli flakes 3 tsp Cumin powder 1 tbsp  (roast and then grind)Chicken stock cubes 2Green part of Spring onions 1 cup Water 5 cups



Method Heat oil soften onions add ginger garlic paste cook for 10 seconds add capsicum & carrots cook for 2 mints Then add cabbage & peas stir add salt,red chilli flakes,cumin powder mix well and cook for 5 mints When it leaves oil add 5 cups of water and stock cubes let it boil add rice mix and let the rice cook when rice left with bit water leave it on low flame (dum) for 5 mints. Then open fluff up add spring onions( save some for garnish )Mix &Transfer rice in a serving dish top it with chicken tikka and spring onions,serve hot,enjoyyy 😊
